Sorry this took so long to be posted but I thought it might appear elsewhere. But before this becomes another of the "Lost Episodes," I felt this should be posted now. Here is a report from the convention showroom floor at the Orleans Casino in Las Vegas during the four day MAGIC Live! convention that was held on August 14-17, 2011. We travel from the Midwest Magic Jubilee in St. Louis to Las Vegas where we are met at the airport by Mel Kientz. The first person interviewed at the Registration Booth is the organizer himself, Stan Allen.
We then join the fun at the Welcome Party where we are soon scooted into the fantastical Dealers' Faire (Dealers' Room) and get to oogle at all the new items and specials being offered on this one night only. The picture above (Losander's booth) is an example of how the Faire was elegantly customized to each dealer. We conclude with an interview with Paul Draper who is in charge of Logistics at the convention.
